Local Stories. Useful Information. Real Life.
RivCo Life is an independent community publication created for the people who live, work, raise families, retire, build businesses, and make their homes throughout Riverside County.
Our primary coverage focuses on Riverside, Moreno Valley, Perris, Menifee, Sun City, Hemet, and surrounding communities, while our resources and stories may reach throughout Riverside County whenever the information can benefit our readers.
But RivCo Life isn’t designed to be just another local news site.
We believe there’s more to a community than breaking news.
More Than Headlines
There are plenty of places to find the day’s biggest headlines. RivCo Life takes a different approach.
We’ll certainly cover local news and issues when there’s something worth talking about, but we’ll also tell the stories that don’t always make the evening news—the people doing interesting things, the organizations helping their neighbors, local history, businesses, community events, and the everyday experiences that connect the people who call Riverside County home.
Sometimes we’ll tackle serious subjects. Sometimes we’ll explore something entertaining or unexpected. And sometimes we’ll simply tell a good story.
Information You Can Actually Use
RivCo Life is also being built as a growing source of practical information.
We’ll cover topics including health and wellness, family, seniors, veterans, finances, consumer issues, home, relationships, community services, and everyday life.
We’ll also develop countywide resource information designed to help readers find programs, organizations, services, and assistance available throughout Riverside County.
Our goal isn’t simply to give you something to read.
We want to give you something useful.
Independent, Local and Thoughtful
RivCo Life isn’t a political publication, and politics won’t dominate what we do. But public policy sometimes becomes local life. Decisions made by city councils, county officials, Sacramento, and Washington can affect our schools, neighborhoods, businesses, healthcare, public safety, and families. When those issues matter to the communities we serve, we won’t ignore them.
We believe good community journalism should be fair, factual, compassionate, and willing to ask difficult questions. We won’t manufacture outrage for clicks, and we won’t pretend every issue has only two sides.
Our commitment is ultimately to the people who live here.
Real People. Real Communities.
Riverside County is enormous, and every community has its own identity.
Hemet isn’t Menifee. Menifee isn’t Perris. Perris isn’t Moreno Valley. And Moreno Valley isn’t Riverside.
That’s a good thing.
RivCo Life wants to celebrate those differences while recognizing everything these communities share. We’ll look for stories from neighborhoods, organizations and residents throughout our coverage area—not just the stories generating the biggest headlines.
And we’d like residents to be part of that process.
If there’s a person we should meet, an organization doing something worthwhile, a community resource others should know about, an issue deserving attention, or simply a great Riverside County story waiting to be told, we want to hear about it.
Welcome to RivCo Life
We’re not trying to cover everything that happens every day.
We’re trying to cover things worth knowing.
Stories that introduce you to your neighbors. Information that makes everyday life a little easier. Resources you might not have known existed. Thoughtful features that make you think, laugh, remember—or start a conversation.
Because Riverside County isn’t just a place on a map.
It’s where we live.
